Why is the Bright Builder different than other website builders I have seen?

No, you do not need a merchant account to use the e-commerce store, however, if you are selling products or services online, it is strongly advised. Alternatives to merchant accounts are available. Our system is fully interfaced with PayPal, and other payment options. Most merchants want to accept credit cards directly on their site instead of using a third-party provider. If this is the case with your business, then you will need a merchant account. This is highly recommended as more than 85% of all online purchases are made with credit cards. the Bright Builder is compatible with all of the major and reputable merchant account providers. Bright Builders can provide you with your own merchant account, and the process is usually quick and simple. After your purchase we will give you all the steps you need for aquiring your own merchant account for a lot less than you can obtain it from other providers.

Who will host my web site?

What fees will I have to pay upfront, and what are the monthly fees?
There are no fixed term contracts or hidden fees. None. You only pay for your monthly hosting ($29.95) after your initial payment for the website builder. How long will it take to setup my website?
The setup time for your website depends on the number of products you feature in your store and the complexity of your product line. Some clients have only a handful of products while others feature over 10,000. It can take just a few hours to add a few products to the system and to familiarize yourself with the shopping cart program. General product entry can take approximately one to two minutes per product. If you know how to use Microsoft Excel, you can import your entire product line into the system quickly and easily.

Will I need to contact Bright Builders to make changes to my website?
Bright Builder websites provide the flexibility to allow you to make changes to every aspect of your store including colors, fonts, prices, products, categories, shipping methods, logos, discounts, graphics, payment types, product descriptions and much, much more. All modifications can be made from your back office control panel from any computer connected to the Internet. This saves you valueable time and money.
However, if you need our assistance beyond normal support, you can contract with our staff to build your store for you at an hourly rate or by bid.

Do I need to know HTML to create my website?
HTML knowledge is not required. You do not need to understand HTML or other programming languages to build or maintain your store. If you understand HTML, you may use it to add customizations to your site.

How do I setup my website?
After signup, you will receive an e-mail detailing how to begin building your online website and store. You will also be provided access to the Builder online tutorial that will explain each feature in detail. The email also provides our toll free support line and email addresses to technical support.

I already have a website, can the Builder plug into my current website?
Your Builder store can be seamlessly integrated into any existing web site. Adding e-commerce to an existing site is simple and fast. Simply add a small snippet of code and you are done. You may also link products from your current site to the proper location within the store. Since the Builder is web based, you may control your site from any computer connected to the Internet.

How can I convert more sales?
You will make more sales using the Builder than without it. There is no limit to the number of products you can sell. Some customers sell just one product while others sell more than 10,000.

How am I notified when someone places an order on my website?
For every order, the Builder sends a "new order" notification e-mail to any email address(es) you specify. From there, you may log into your backroom admin area and review and/or print the order invoices. Orders and customer information is data based in your fully secured admin panel so you can search for past orders by last name, order number, email address, and many other criteria.

Can my orders be sent directly from my drop-shippers?
Yes they can. The builder has full drop-ship usability. Products can be supplied from several drop-shippers and you can have each product sent by the proper drop-shipper for fulfillment.
